Shy Len is another country boy hailing from Canada’s east coast.
Donny’s mechanics usually have a particular background that he always looks for. People off the farm or a fishing village for example develop a multitude of mechanical skills as they grow up ‘cause they do all the fixin’ themselves. They learn to twist wrenches, electrical, welding, fabricating and diagnostics on the fly out of necessity from a young age.
Combine this background with a parent that has a mechanical trade and the talent pool just builds and builds leaving the city kids in their wake.
Lenny thinks Harleys are too slow so he loves blasting around on his go-fast sport bikes.
He likes working on Harleys though because they are easy for him to repair, they lend themselves to performance upgrades and they can showcase Lenny’s customizing talents.
Lenny also loves working on other bikes and has a wide knowledge base to assist him.
As Heavy Duty branches into Japanese performance, sport bike bling modifications and Metric V-Twin customizing, Lenny will be at the forefront lending his expertise.
Donny took Lenny in as an apprentice mechanic right out of trade school.
Donny taught Lenny mechanical theory and practice while Steve instilled his 40 years of wrenching expertise, at every turn into Lenny’s already talented mind.
Now Lenny does some of the teaching as he easily holds his own with the give-and-take that constantly goes back and forth interacting with Donny and Steve as well as Tony a talented wrench in his own right.
Lenny is a skilled and competent addition to a Team at the top of its game.
